A Message From Our Founder

New Bridges was born out of a love for serving my community and building authentic relationships. I grew up in a household where service to others was more than encouraged—it was expected. From an early age, I was taught that our talents are meant to uplift others. This value has shaped my career and commitment to helping people and organizations reach their full potential.

After college, I moved to Costa Rica with one suitcase, a sense of adventure, and a desire to teach. That leap led to teaching roles in Nicaragua, Japan, and Angola, where I learned invaluable lessons about opportunity, access, and the power of education. My time abroad—and experiences in places like South Africa and Central America—deepened my understanding of systemic challenges that limit opportunity while reinforcing my belief in the transformative potential of resources and support.

Returning to Rhode Island, I began working at a nonprofit dedicated to helping young adults gain the skills to achieve economic mobility. I discovered a knack for fundraising, a passion for external engagement, and a love for connecting people with missions that inspire them. Over 12 years, I’ve mentored hundreds of young adults, helping them find their path to success.

These experiences inspired me to create New Bridges Consulting—a firm with a mission to build connections and drive growth for organizations serving the community. At New Bridges, we specialize in nonprofit fundraising, corporate partnerships, and business development. Our goal is to bring expertise, enthusiasm, and execution to solve problems, fill in gaps, and make valuable connections to advance the missions of organizations we love. 

Genuine relationships are at the heart of everything we do. True collaboration and trust drive every project, and our focus is on creating lasting impact through long-term partnerships.
